Mile West Wind Farm
The 550 MW Mile West Wind Farm built by CTG in southwest China’s Yunnan province was connected to the grid on March 30, 2023.?
The 6.7-MW turbines used in this project have the highest single-capacity among all wind farms in mountainous regions in China. The project is anticipated to generate over 1.4 TWh of electricity annually, equivalent to the annual consumption of around 600,000 households. This will result in savings of approximately 450,000 tonnes of standard coal and a reduction of about 1.18 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each year.
