CTG has successfully developed the world’s largest and Asia’s first offshore wind power VSC-HVDC substation, the world’s first typhoon-resistant floating offshore wind turbine, and the world’s leading 16 MW offshore wind turbine. CTG has also launched the first domestic “transportation + lifting” integrated deep sea construction ship and China’s first 2000-tonne fourth-generation offshore wind power installation platform, among other major equipment. These achievements have propelled China’s offshore wind power development capability to world-leading status.

CTG has proactively pursued clean energy application demonstrations, leading the manufacturing of the all-electric cruise ship with the world’s largest electric capacity, China’s first domestic inland hydrogen-fueled ship, and the country’s first green zero-carbon data center. In Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, we constructed a pilot comprehensive hydrogen energy project that covers hydrogen production, storage, transportation and refueling. We also took the lead in exploring key technologies such as smart centralized control, operation, and maintenance systems for wind and solar storage stations, thus spearheading the development of a new generation of grid-friendly green power stations.

CTG has promoted the dual models of Smart Urban Water Manager and Comprehensive Energy Manager to facilitate the integrated development of clean energy and Yangtze River conservation. CTG is actively engaged in forward-looking research and planning for new solar cells, hydrogen energy, energy storage, and multi-source hybrid energy projects.
